Disgusting smell from the aircon.

Disgusting smell from the aircon. Smelled like it was extracting air from a dumpster and releasing into the room. Had to leave it off during the night resulting in an extremely hot room. Staff were not very helpful during check in and did not have change of a reasonbly small note during payment causing a delay

Clean and Safe experience

I like the room very clean and comfortable. The receptionist (Sam) She is very informative and she speaks English well. I like that the accommodation invest so much in putting CCTV. I feel so safe.

The staff here is kind, courteous, and professional, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Having seen quite a few places in the area, I could confidently say that Giang Son 2 is among the best budget-friendly places in D1. I would certainly come back here the next time I'm in HCMC.

There is nothing I dislike about this place. For the price, it really doesn't get better.

Ok for short stay and intense visit of Saigon.

Location and the receptionist was really nice. You get to choose the breakfast option. Comfortable bed.

Therr is no window and its not said in the description. Apart from the front desk girl in dayshift the rest of staff was quite rude and seemed to hate the job. The room desperately needs renovation and some better light system since there is no window. The sheets have permanent stains that do not come off although they are washed.

The worst in Vietnam

I arrived a this hotel, there was a girl sitting on the sofa and almost annoyed she got up and went to the desk and turned her back and asked me for the name of the reservation. I ask if the room has a window and tells me in a very arrogant way no, (for the room with window you need to pay extra) it tells us that we have to pay immediately (we have been in Vietnam from north to south and in all the hotels we have always paid to check out) it's okay we payed. From the room keys I looked at the number, it was 403 top floor and without helping us even taking hand luggage, my girlfriend and I made 4 floors of stairs with 4 suitcases. She asks us to take off our flip flops because we walk barefoot in the hotel, we put our flip-flops on the shelves. We arrive in the room the bathroom was dirty and the towels were missing. The next day while we were waiting for breakfast I look at the floor and it was all dirty, the ladies shouting all the time in their language in the morning at 8:30 am while we were having breakfast. We went on an excursion with shoes, leaving our flip-flops on the shelf in front of the desk in the lobby, in the evening we went down to go to for dinner and when we arrive in the lobby to take our flip-flops, a couple were missing, I ask what happened to them ; no one knew anything, they were gone; angry I put on my shoes and go out for dinner. On return from dinner without anyone telling me anything he looked at the shelf and I saw my ruined and dirty flip-flops so this is the hotel you see, at that price there is much better in Vietnam. I really don't recommend this place. The worst in all Vietnam.

Rest and Relaxation in Siagon

The GiangSon2 staff were professional, courteous and willing to help at all times. I love my stay so much that I extend my 8 day visit to 14 days. Great service, great location and great value. The hotel is centrally located in Siagon's district 1. My room was on the top floor with private balcony. I was treated with respect and dignity from all staff. No visitors after 10pm, so that the hotel and its guests will not have to worry about theft, unauthorized guests or the 'wrong type of people" hurting or violating a Male or female guest during his or her stay. I felt safe and received the rest and relaxation I needed. Thank you GiangSon2

Terrible!

It was nightmare. They gave as other room with much lower standard. 15% of discount is ok but standard was awful! 5th floor, very hot, dirty... Never never again!

Location of hotel is ok. Receptionist is great! Just bathrooms needs some attention. It's a pretty old hotel and would be better if they pay more attention in cleaning specially the bathrooms. But over all, good value of money.

What truly made this place was the kindest and sincere...

What truly made this place was the kindest and sincere generosity of young manager. I got very ill and she went beyond the call of duty to look after me like I was her own mother. Extremely helpful and made sure you were looked after, this hotel is in the heart of district 1 . Lots of excitement and crazy fun that caters to restaurants and night life. Back packer and travel must but probably not for long term R & R

stairs, some rooms did not have windows but hostess made everything great
